Clinical hysteroscopy is a standard diagnostic and therapeutic skill required by most gynecologists. Since the publication of the first edition, there have been a number of important innovations in hysteroscopy both in technique and equipment design. Rafael F. Valle has fully revised and updated the text to reflect these advances. In addition, a major difference from the first edition is the inclusion of colour intrauterine figures throughout, while the original qualities that made the first edition a critical success remain.
