Manual Therapy Masterclasses- the Peripheral Joints presents a selection of papers on the latest approaches to the management of peripheral joint dysfunction written by some of the leading clinicians in the field. Originally commissioned for publication in the Masterclass section of the journal Manual Therapy in the years 1995 - 2002 the papers have been selected and edited for inclusion in this volume by Karen Beeton herself a highly experienced manual therapy practitioner and educator. Under her editorship the original authors have been given the opportunity to add updating "postscripts" to the original papers where appropriate. These "postscripts" summarise the developments in the related research and the authors' clinical practice that have taken place since the papers were first published.
