Obeity is one of the most common medical problems affectin Americans today , and certainly the most common nutritional disorder in North America. Dspite the frequency with which clinicians encounter this disorder, little emphasis is placed on training physicinans to deal whith this complex group of patients.
The explsion of new infromatin regarding both the etiology and treatment of obesity hat has appeared in the last ten years will hopefully by incorporated into the health profession's approach to his problem in the near futrue .
